How do I start creating my own brand?
- Create an account and enter your VAT number. Once your details have been verified, you will have access to pricing information and our extensive product range.
- Browse the assortment and select your desired products. Add them to your shopping cart and complete your order.
- You will receive a questionnaire to specify your requirements. After completing it, our designer will get to work. After your approval of the design, your order will be processed immediately.
What is SalonID's policy regarding designs?
Any design you submit to us must be respectful of others and within the legal framework. By using SalonID's services, you agree to our guidelines for acceptable content and our Terms and Conditions. Designs considered inappropriate, such as hateful, illegal designs or designs that infringe on intellectual property rights, may be removed.
We ask you to respect the work of others. This means that you must have created the design you submit yourself or have the legal right to use it. By uploading your design files, you understand that you are fully responsible for the content of those files and that you have the right to print, use, sell and distribute them.
Are design guidelines available?
Certainly, we don't expect you to know everything!
We offer two types of guidelines:
- A design solution through a questionnaire and designs we have selected based on market research and experience. Allows you to create your own brand quickly and easily. Through an interactive questionnaire you make your design choices. This way you are assured of a consistent look, and when new products are available, the design will continue. This way, you have no extra costs and don't have to worry about anything.
- You can hire a graphic designer; they can contact us and we will share the necessary documentation.
Should I design the label myself or hire a designer?
The choice is entirely up to you! If you are confident in your design skills, go ahead and create the design of your dreams. However, if you don't feel comfortable doing this yourself, it may be easier to leave this task to a professional designer.
If you don't know a designer yourself who can help you, consider using services such as Upwork, Fiverr or Freelancer.com to find one.
Note: If you choose to work with an agency or freelancer, always check their portfolio and ask for recommendations to ensure you are working with a competent professional.
How should the products be stored?
To maintain the quality of your products, store them in a dry, cool place (ideally between 10-20 degrees Celsius) and out of direct sunlight. Excessive humidity and sunlight can negatively affect the condition of the products and possibly reduce their effectiveness over time.
Can I order free samples?
We do not offer free samples, but you can purchase a sample box at a discounted price. This allows you to evaluate the quality of our products and printing before placing a larger order.
Please note that it is not possible to order individual products.
How long will it take to receive my personalized products?
Once we receive your design approval, the processing time is 1-2 business days before the products are transferred to postal services for shipment.
What is the minimum order quantity for personalized products?
The minimum order quantity for each product is displayed on the individual product pages on our website.

How are products tested?
Our hair care products go through rigorous testing stages and processes to ensure their effectiveness and safety.
The formulation process begins with consulting ingredient supplier guidelines for the recommended usage and concentration of each component. Sometimes we evaluate hundreds of samples to identify the optimal formula.
At SalonID, we strongly believe in beauty without cruelty. That's why we never test our products on animals. Instead, volunteer testers provide feedback on their hair's reaction and subjective assessments, both of which are taken into account when refining the formula.
Once a product is formulated, it undergoes laboratory testing to measure various physical and chemical properties, determine stability and establish proper storage conditions. A qualified chemist also tests the product in accordance with regulatory requirements for safety and consistency. In addition, we send our products to outside laboratories to verify the effectiveness of the chosen preservatives during the product's validity period.
Finally, we examine the physical and chemical properties of each batch produced to ensure consistency with the approved laboratory version. This meticulous approach ensures the exceptional quality and performance of our SalonID hair care products.

SalonID products have a shelf life of 12 months after opening.

Are SalonID products CPNP registered and have a PIF?
Yes, all SalonID products have a Product Information File (PIF) and are registered with the Cosmetic Products Notification Portal (CPNP). There is no additional cost for this, regardless of the number of brands you create.
Can the products be sold legally in Europe?
Yes, all SalonID products comply with Regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009 for finished cosmetic products placed on the EU market, guaranteeing that they can be legally sold within the European Union.
Is SalonID's manufacturing facility certified?
All of our production facilities and laboratories are fully certified. We work closely with these facilities, which produce high-quality cosmetics and well-known brands. They comply with ISO 22716:2007, the international standard for Good Manufacturing Practices for cosmetics. This standard ensures the safe production, control, storage and shipment of cosmetic products.

Shipping & Returns
Where are SalonID services available?
SalonID services are available in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and France. We strive to process business orders efficiently, with a production time of 1-2 business days. Once your order is ready, it is transferred to the appropriate parcel service. All our shipments are insured and sent by registered mail to ensure reliable and safe delivery for our valued business customers.
Can I change the delivery address?
Unfortunately, we cannot change details after an order has been submitted. This means that it is not possible to remove the delivery address, shipping method or products from the order.
I've changed my mind. Can I return my order?
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns for personalized products unless the item is damaged or defective. Should you encounter such a problem, please contact us at [email protected]. We will respond to your inquiry within 48 hours.
How can I track my order?
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number. If you experience any problems with your tracking number or have not received it, please contact our customer service team at [email protected] for further assistance.
Do you ship to post office boxes?
Unfortunately, we do not ship to PO Boxes. Due to the nature of our cosmetic products, we prioritize ensuring a reliable and safe delivery environment.
What are the estimated shipping times?
Shipping times vary by country:
- Netherlands: 1 business day
- Belgium: 1-2 business days
- Germany: 2-3 working days
- France: 3-5 working days
What are the shipping costs?
Depending on the membership chosen, the following shipping costs apply:
- SalonID Basic: Shipping costs are calculated per box at €2.75. If you order multiple boxes, shipping costs will be higher. Due to our production method, we cannot group boxes.
- SalonID Premium: No shipping costs, regardless of the number of boxes.

Can I change or cancel my order?
Unfortunately, we cannot make changes after an order is submitted because we begin processing it immediately. This means that it is not possible to remove the delivery address, shipping method or products from the order.
I have a discount code. How do I use it?
To use your discount code, enter it in the designated field during the checkout process and click "apply. The discount will be automatically deducted from the total amount of your order.
